 Each year Rotary Club of Tyler honors a middle school and upper school boy and girl from Smith county schools.Criteria for selection include the characteristics of honesty, integrity, service, and citizenship. This year's honorees from Brook Hill are middle school students Abbi English and Coleman Beam and upper school students Lauren Langsjoen and Cody Franklin. Additionally, "Teachers of the Year," selected by the administration and staff of each school, were recognized and honored along with the "Rotary Young Citizens" at the annual award's luncheon held at TJC on May 8.
