BROOK HILL DOWNS DEFENDING CHAMPS
     -- Photos courtesy of donnacummingsphotography.com The Brook Hill Guard downs Fort Worth Bethesda on Saturday 66-48 ensuring their Brook Hill earned a berth in the TAPPS Class 3A state tournament. The teams played at John Paul II High School. Brook Hill heads to San Antonio for state playoffs this Friday. Coach Reed Rawlings called the win "maybe the biggest in school history." Brook Hill (15-12) will meet Kingwood Northeast in the state semifinals on Friday in San Antonio.

Ladies shut out Troup
     Erin Kipp struck out 16 batters and only allowed up one hit in Bullard's 3-0 shutout of Troup on Monday. Kipp allowed three walks in the win for Bullard, which improved to 5-0. Netters compete in tourney
      The Bullard varsity tennis team recently competed in the Bear Club Tournament. Amber Braaten placed first in the tournament defeating Stone of White Oak, 8-4 in the girls' singles.

Panther streak continues
      The Bullard Panthers continued their winning streak Friday night at UT Tyler with a 60-47 victory over the Sabine Cardinals. The Class 3A Region II Area playoff game was underway as the Panthers took control of the tip. The boys were determined to prove that no matter their age they were in it to win.
