! Cherokee County Republican Chair Josie D. Schoolcraft invites everyone to an open house of the new Republican Party Headquarters, located at 311 N. Jackson St., in Jacksonville (on U.S.69 N. next door to NAPA Auto Parts) from 2-4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24. Refreshments will be served.

! Bullard High School is hosting a college financial aid workshop beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 4. The workshop is open to students, parents and guardians of students grades sixth through twelfth, as well as community members. Devon Wiggins, director of financial aid at Tyler Junior College will speak, and there will be door prizes. ! Bullard High School host its first college fair from 10 am. to 2 p.m. Feb. 6 at the high school gym. More than 29 colleges are set to attend, as well as Stone School of Massage and branches of armed forces. Tyler Workforce and TJC's director of financial aid on hand. The fair is open to all high school students and community members. Arp, Frankston and Winona high schools will be in attendance as well.

! Bullard Band Boosters meet at 7 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month at the Bullard High School band room. All band parents and other interested in supporting the bands are invited to attend.

! Bullard "Moms In Touch International" meets from 2-3 p.m. every Tuesday at the home of Rena French. The group is two or more moms who meet for one hour each week to pray for their children, their schools, their teachers, and administrators. For more information, call Anne Moody at 903-825- 7171.
