'TOTAL TEAM EFFORT'
Bullard Panthers varsity and JV defeat Spring Hill

The Bullard varsity Panthers defeated the Spring Hill Panthers 62-51 Tuesday evening.

"This win was a total team effort," said Coach Ryan Tomlin. "All the players played hard."

Leading scorer for the night was Josiah Rosebury with 15 points followed by Charlie Moore with 12; Daniel Howard, 10; Austin Camp, 10; Nikky Rumbelow, 4; Brandon Davis, 4; Andrew Barron, 3; Jacob Whatley, 2 and Brandon Beavers, 2.

The Junior varsity boys also defeated Spring Hill 58-49.

Leading the team for the night was Marquez Franklin with 22 points. Ryan Wood followed with 12; Sydney Lawson, 8; Steven Langston, 6; Stephen Head, 5; R.J. Horton, 2; Chris Braaten, 2 and Koby Greene, 1.

The week prior the varsity boys faced another team of Panthers as the played Westwood. Though at the end of the night Bullard came up short and were defeated 44-56.

Austin Camp led scoring with 15 points followed by Andrew Barron with 8; Brandon Beavers, 7; Charlie Moore, 6; Josiah Rosebury, 3; Daniel Howard, 3 and Nikky Rumbelow, 2.

Coach Tomlin said leading scorer, Lance Anding, had not been playing due to a foot injury.

The Spring Hill victory brings the varsity's record to 11- 4.

The team is set to compete next over the holidays, Dec. 27- 29, in the Wagstaff Holiday Classic at Tyler Junior College.
