Jenny Brown, above, who taught in Mali, West Africa for six months, speaks in Mrs. McKenzie's second grade class at The Brook Hill Lower School. The students have been reading the book, "The Name Jar," by Yangsook Choi. Brown taught the students about Malian culture, how to greet each other, and what their last names would mean and represent in Mali.
