BH celebrates; kicks off campaign
In1997, there were 31 students, a building and one man's dream.

Ten years later, a lot has changed for The Brook Hill School.

With an enrollment now topping 500, the school on Thursday officially launched its capital campaign - "Realizing the Vision" - and broke ground on the school's new Founder's Hall.

Steve Dement, who founded the school in 1997 - and for whom the building is named , said the school has grown more than even he envisioned.

But once the doors opened, Dement realized growth was inevitable.

"God kept opening doors, and it confirmed we needed to be doing this," Dement said. "Sometimes His vision is a little bigger than ours."
