Lady Guard splits games

Brook Hill's Lady Guard recently took on Shady Grove to win in four games.

The Lady Guard prevailed in the best 3 out of 4 with the final scores being, 25-19; 12-25; 25-11 and 25-20.

Carly Hood led the girls with 13 kills, 8 aces and 6 digs. Katy Hicks contributed 8 kills, 2 aces and 14 digs.

Abby Clements led blocking with 6 blocks. Clements also added 7 kills, 1 ace and 3 digs. Kelsey Norton led digs with 18 while Carly Shawari added 7 kills and 2 blocks.

In another game, held last week, the ladies were defeated by Prince of Peace in three games.

Katy Hicks had 6 kills, 1 block and 3 digs.

Carly Hood made 8 kills and 2 digs while Kelsey Norton had 5 digs. Erica Eden added 8 assists as well as 1 dig and 1 kill.
