BULLETIN BOARD
! Bullard High School is hosting a dating violence workshop - open to parents, guardians and student for grades kindergarten through 12 beginning at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 25 at the school. Domestic Violence Program Coordinator Lisa Lee Forman, of the Crisis Center of Cherokee and Anderson Counties, will be guest speaker for the program.

! The Cherokee County Democratic Club will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Southern Motor Inn on Hwy. 69 in Rusk, just south of the four-way stop. The Texas Democratic Women will meet at the same location at 6:30 p.m. prior to the full committee meeting. The meeting is an opportunity to re-up membership or join the club for the upcoming 2008 elections. The club will discuss the upcoming 2007 Constitutional Amendments vote on Nov. 6. There will be a drawing for a door prize at the conclusion of the meeting and a silent auction for presidential candidate tshirts.

! Power and Praise Tabernacle Baptist Church is holding a "Halloween Alternative," from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Oct. 31. The church is offering free food and candy for all ages. The church is located at 22525 Hwy. 155 S., Flint. For more information, call Patsy at 903-681-2748.

! The Bullard Church of Christ Fall Festival will be held on Sunday, Oct. 28 at 6 p.m. There will be a supper and many activities. All are welcome to come.

! Sonic Band Night will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. every Monday beginning Oct. 22. A percentage of sales will be donated to the Bullard bands.

! Bullard Band Boosters Fall Garage Sale is from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3 at the Bullard High School Band Room. To donate items for the sale, call Gary Jordan at 903-894-3272 to arrange for pick-up or drop-off.
