GRACES DEFEATS BROOK HILL

Brook Hill was defeated Friday night by the Grace Community Cougars 35-19. The game followed the "Sofa Tailgate Party" which included1/3 pound burgers, probunlength hot dogs and "SOFA" spud tots sold in front of Herrington Stadium.

Fans packed the stadium after the meal to show their support but could do nothing about the defeat. The Cougars held the Guard back from scoring the entire first half.

It was only after half time that Brook Hill lit up their end of the scoreboard as they were trailing by 21 points.

 The Guard will play Irving The Highlands next, Oct. 12 at 7:30 p.m. at Herrington Stadium.
