Sean Collins takes new job

Brook Hill's long-time coach Sean Collins announced he was leaving this month to take a job in California.

An All-American at Kansas State before joining the Kansas City Royals organization and playing professional ball, Collins first burst on the scene in East Texas as a Tyler Wildcatter, with the former Texas/Louisiana Professional Baseball League and spent the past 12 years endearing himself to baseball lovers across the area and sharing his expertise with youth during summer camps.

For eight of the last 12 years, Collins has dedicated himself to helping to grow The Brook Hill School and to establishing their State Champion baseball program, but now it is time for Sean to leave this market to return to his roots in the Los Angeles area of California.

Collins has just accepted a job at Oaks Christian School in Westlake Village as Associate Director of Admissions, responsible for growing the Middle School program by developing relationships in the community.

Collins leaves Brook Hill on Sept. 14 with his wife, Andrea and daughter, Cameron, to move closer to his family in the San Fernando Valley.

At the same time, the school continues to consider its options while planning for the next phase of its awardwinning baseball program and for the Lower School Sport Academies.
