County Dems to hold fall banquet

The Cherokee County Democratic Club will hold a Fall Banquet and Silent Auction, Saturday, Sept. 8 at 6:30 p.m. at Lon Morris College, Wilson Administration Building, 800 College Ave., Jacksonville.

Texas Democratic Party Chair Boyd Richie will deliver the keynote speech. Gov. Howard Dean, Chair of the Democratic National Committee, and democratic presidential candidates will be sending messages.

All East Texans are welcome.

Tickets for the dinner are $25 each.

Student prices are $12.
