Lady Panthers defeat Tatum

Above is the Bullard Lady Panthers Varsity Volleyball team.

The Lady Panthers volleyball teams traveled to Tatum Monday afternoon to compete against both Tatum and Carthage.

The varsity girls went to five games to eventually defeat Tatum.

The final scores were, 20-25, loss; 25- 21, win; 22-25, loss; 25-11, win and 15-9, win. Calli Miller contributed 24 kills and 15 digs to the victory.

Allison Burton had 20 digs, Whitney Lust contributed with 22 assists and Ashley Davis added 10 kills.

Coach Laningham said that it was a great effort; the girls worked hard and never gave up.

The Lady Panther also went five games with Carthage and prevailed.

Final scores were 25-22, win, 25-11, win; 20-25, loss; 23-25, loss and 15-12, win.

Allison Burton totaled 29 digs and 3 aces.

Calli Miller added 34 kills and 19 digs, while Whitney Lust added 2 aces, 18 digs and 32 assists.

Ashley Davis contributed 8 kills and 3 aces bringing the teams total to 8 aces.

The girls also had 8 team blocks.

The Junior varsity girls lost their games to Carthage, 14-25 and 16-25 but came out victorious over Tatum after three games.

The scores were, 16-25, loss; 25-12, win and 25-16, win.

The freshman team lost to Tatum 10- 25 and 24-26 but prevailed against Carthage 25-12 in both games.
