Brook Hill begins a new school year
By Linda Seronello The Brook Hill School

A Brook Hill students tumbles down the inflatable slides at the back to school picnic held last week.
Family is what was seen everywhere as you looked across the sea of 1,400 people who attended Brook Hill's "Welcome Back to School" picnic Monday, Aug. 20th at The Brook Hill School Herrington football stadium.

Children from ages two weeks to 18 years old, moms, dads, and grandparents joined in an evening of family fun.

The evening was filled with fun for the younger ones who enjoyed inflatable slides, hula hoops, bouncy balls, and footballs of all sizes, shapes, and color.

The teens enjoyed time with friends and comparing summer happenings in their lives.

Moms and dads renewed friendships, and grandparents enjoyed watching the generations come together and the fellowship.

The evening's dinner was catered by Sadler's of Jacksonville.

The evening was truly enjoyed by all and this is only the beginning of a great year filled with learning, laughing and more family events at Brook Hill.

The Brook Hill School is growing and looking to the future for its students.

This year will mark 10 years that the school has made a difference in the lives of so many young men and women.

Brook Hill opened its doors this year to 520 students, 40 of whom will be living on the premises in the boarding house.

If you are interested in sending your child to The Brook Hill School, call the school at 903-894-5000.

Campus tours are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
