Funeral services for Opal Terkleson, 89, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 11a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2007, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Rev. Mark Towns and LeAnn Terkleson officiating.

Graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at Bullard Cemetery in Bullard.

Terkleson passed away Saturday afternoon, Aug. 18, 2007, at her residence.

She was born Feb. 21, 1918, in Bullard, Texas, the daughter of James Polk Stephens and Maudie Alice Kilgore Stephens. She was raised in Bullard where she attended public school. Opal married James A. Looper who preceded her in death.

She later married William Marvin Coop and later on married Ted Terkleson, who also preceded her in death.

Opal was employed by Bullard Plastics for several years. She moved to Wills Point in 1993 and was of the Baptist faith.

Terkleson was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, James A. Looper and Ted Terkleson; infant son, Baby Terkleson; four sisters; one brother and a granddaughter, Stephanie Couch in 2006.

Survivors include three sons, Ron Looper and his wife, Francis, of Severn, Maryland, Larry Terkleson and his wife, Debbie, of Tyler and Roger Terkleson, of Emory; two daughters, Carolyn Rains, of Wills Point, and Billie Kennedy and her husband, Jerrald, of Wills Point, a brother, James "Buck" Stephens, of Lewiston, Washington and 10 grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 12 stepgreat grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Steve Mizell, Brian Kennedy, Tommy Fuller, Lance Terry, Steven Mizell, Michael Mizell and Greg Casarez.
