Taylor Hodges of Bullard has his sights set on the Beijing China 2008 Olympic games.

The 17-year-old International Skeet Shooter will head to Colorado Springs next week to compete in the Fall Selection Match for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

The Fall and Spring Selection Matches will determine the two men Olympic team that will go on to the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Taylor will have one day of squaded practice and then three days of competition.

The Aug. 15-18 Olympic Qualifying Match will have a total of 250 targets.

Taylor is a member of the USA Junior Olympic Team.

In June, he won a bronze medal at the State Junior Olympic Match.

Jim Reay of Bullard has coached Taylor for the last six years.

"I am blessed to be going to Colorado and will do my very best." Hodges said.
