Lunch, learn slated

The Texas Cooperative Extension and the Cherokee County Family and Consumer Sciences committee will sponsor a lunch and learn event from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 16, at HOPE in Jacksonville.

The topic will be "Operating Technology Gadgets."

Those on their lunch hour are invited to bring a sack lunch and enjoy the program while eating.

Tea, water and coffee will be provided.
