Kevin Glenn Williams Services for Capt. Kevin Glenn Williams, 42, of Flint, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6, 2007, at Bethel Bible Church with the Rev. Craig Kirkpatrick officiating. Burial followed in the Roselawn Cemetery in Flint under the direction of Stewart Family Funeral Home. Kevin Williams was born on Feb. 8, 1965. He died on Aug. 3, 2007, in the line of duty while fighting a fire, which was his life's passion. Kevin graduated from Berkner High School in Richardson in 1983. He served in the United States Air Force Reserves during Desert Storm. Kevin was a Captain for the Noonday Volunteer Fire Department and was employed by Tyler Fire Extinguishers. He was also a charter member of Bethel Bible Church. Capt. Williams is survived by his loving family including his daughter, Amanda Williams of Tyler; son, Lance Corporal Schyler M. Williams of 29 Palms, Calif.; parents, Glenn and Dianne Williams of Flint; sister, Dianna Wilkerson and husband Jarvis of Flint; and brothers, Mark Cole and wife Marsha of Naples, Fla., and Bryan Williams of Dallas. Kevin will be greatly missed by his family and his extended Fire Department family. We thank the Lord that he is home with his Heavenly Father due to his saving faith in Jesus Christ. Pallbearers were fellow firefighters.
