! Bullard High School freshman and parents are invited to Freshman Orientation beginning at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 13 at Bullard High School. There will be information on: academics, athletics, band and cheerleader performances, club sponsors, graduation requirements and schedules. Pizza and door prizes will be included. ! Bullard High School sophomores, juniors, and seniors may pick up their schedules from 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. Aug. 21.

! Bullard Independent School District will conduct new student registration on Aug. 14, 15 and 16 form 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. Registration will be conducted at individual campuses. Proof of residency, which includes a physical address where you are currently residing, as well as a social security card, immunization record, birth certificate and report from the last school must be presented at this time, along with a parent or guardian's driver's license.

"Meet the Teacher" will be held on each campus Thursday, Aug. 23 at the following times: Bullard Elementary School -- 6-7 p.m.; Bullard Intermediate School-- 6:30-7:30 p.m.; Bullard Middle School -- 5:30- 6:30 p.m.; Bullard High School -- 5:45-6:45 p.m. For further information, contact the individual campus or visit the website at www.bullardisd.net. ! The Tyler-Lone Star Chapter of the Texas Association of Sports Officials is looking for anyone interested in officiating Junior High and High School football games in the East Texas area. Meetings are already under way. If you are interested, please contact Kevin at 903-312-2222.
