CHANGE FOR CHANGE
Children on the move for a new library
Special to the Banner

Ask the kids who are enrolled in the Bullard Community Library summer reading club, or the teenagers who come to use the computers every day.

They'll all tell you "We need a new library building."

The "Change for a Change" campaign is the kids' part of the larger capital campaign, which has reached over $333,000 at this point.

Martha Dinwiddie, member of the library board, says that we hope to start construction in 2008.

To boost the $1.6 million campaign, the kids plan to raise $1600 this summer and early fall.

They will need spare change from all of us to do that.

Please bring in your change when you're near the library and drop it in the containers provided.
