They had a great week. The team worked hard and kept very busy. They learned a lot of new material and are excited about showing it off. Captains Stormie Thoene and Lacy Hurst worked very hard at their duties. They did an excellent job They began by winning the "Spirit Banana" the first night during awards. The team earned the following awards during the week: Cheer Evaluation - Superior rating Sideline Evaluation - Superior rating Dance Evaluation - Superior rating Sideline Frenzy Contest - 2nd Place Jump Off - Lacy Hurst made it to the top 4! Rocking Rally Air Guitar Contest Winner - Nick Gilley Overall Home Routine - 2nd Place Overall Cheer - 1st Place Overall Xtreme Routine - 2nd Place Overall "Spirit" Award Mascot Award - Kylee Nichols The following were named UCA All-Star Cheerleaders and were invited to be in the Houston Thanksgiving Parade: Stormie Thoene Lacy Hurst Emily Tekell Samantha Phillips
