County resident hates Bullard, school taxes

      Thank God I am not a native of E.T. otherwise I would probably be as careless as you people are. Your Bullard VFD mails letters wanting our donations. I have never seen Bullard VFD helping Lake Palestine East VFD. Same old stuff - our money to help Bullard.

      After reading Ms. Showers letter, I was taken aback. We -- as the media, the city and both Smith and Cherokee counties -- may not be doing our jobs informing the public of what it means to be a school taxpayer, a city taxpayer and a resident of the county.
