Severe storms continue to hit Smith, Cherokee areas
      Strong and rapid rains deluged the Bullard area last week causing power outages across the city. TXU spokesperson Richard Saunders said about 800 area residents were without power June 19 -- mostly due to downed trees and lightning strikes.
