Volleyball Camp
      When: July 30-Aug. 2 Who: All incoming 6th, 7th and 8th graders Where: Bullard Middle School Cost: $40 for the first child, $25 for each additional child. Times: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Athletes will work to improve skills such as passing, setting, serving and spiking.

Farm Bureau offers hunter education
      Hunting season will be here before long and the Cherokee County Farm Bureau wants to make sure hunters are prepared. The Farm Bureau is sponsoring a Hunters' Education course on Aug. 7-8. This is a two-day course from 8 a.m. to 1p.m. with lunch provided.
