story in the July 20 edition of the Bullard

Banner News mentioned Ashley Bailey, a senior who was not

allowed to walk the

stage with her class, as having given up on

taking the TAKS test.

The sentence should have read that Ashley

was "moving on" and "readying to take the

TAKS test again in

July." The Banner

regrets the error.
