Courtney Jade Ramsey, creative writing major from Bullard, has been named to the President's Honor at Stephen F. Austin State University for the spring semester.

To be eligible for this honor, a student must be enrolled in 12 or more semester hours and maintain a grade point average of 4.0

Alexandria D. Evans of Bullard was named to the Dean's List at Sam Houston State University for spring 2007.

More than 2,000 Baylor University students were named to the Dean's Academic Honor List for the 2007 spring semester.

Among those named was

Andrew Hanks of Flint, a mechanical engineering major.

To be named to the Dean's List, a student must be an undergraduate with a minimum grade-point average of 3.7 while enrolled in a minimum of 12 semester hours.
