! The Bullard Area Kiwanis Club meets Tuesdays at noon in the fellowship hall of the First United Methodist Church of Bullard. The public is welcome to attend. Lunch is $6.

! The Bullard Rotary Club meets at 6:30 a.m. every Thursday at Hondo and Shorty's.

! The Bullard Community Library holds story hour for children every Thursday at 10 a.m.

! The Bullard City Council meets at 6:30 p.m. the second Thursday of each month in council chambers at city hall.

! The Bullard ISD board meets at 7 p.m. the second Monday of each month at the school's administration building.

! Heart to Heart Hospice needs people who are willing to be volunteers. Hospice patients are in nursing homes and in private homes and need someone to listen to them reminisce about their lives, to laugh with them, to read to them, and to love them. ! If you would like to volunteer in a clinic setting and enjoy front door parking, Trinity Mother Frances has an opportunity for you. Volunteers are encouraged to bring their skills and their desire to help other people and TMFHS will match them to a volunteer position. Call Volunteer Services at 903-531- 4435

! East Texas Crisis Center: Children's Services Education & Prevention Program is gearing up for a Children's Summer Camp. The center needs several volunteers to assist with a wide array of activities, including an education program, swimming, library, park and waterdays. Currently, 28 children are in the ETCC Women & Children's Shelter. A volunteer's gift of time can be the positive difference in the life of a young child.
