Farm Bureau offers hunter education

Hunting season will be here before long and the Cherokee County Farm Bureau wants to make sure hunters are prepared.

The Farm Bureau is sponsoring a Hunters' Education course on Aug. 7-8.

This is a two-day course from 8 a.m. to 1p.m. with lunch provided.

There must be a minimum of 15 people to hold the class, and the minimum age is 12 as of August 7, 2007, or if you are going to hunt out of state you will need hunters' education.

The class will be held at Rusk High School and taught by the Ag Science Department.

The cost is $15 per person. Please reserve a spot by July 31 by calling Rhonda Robinson T 903-683-2576.
