! The Bullard Area Kiwanis Club meets Tuesdays at noon in the fellowship hall of the First United Methodist Church of Bullard. The public is welcome to attend. Lunch is $6.

! The Bullard Rotary Club meets at 6:30 a.m. every Thursday at Hondo and Shorty's.

! The Bullard Community Library holds story hour for children every Thursday at 10 a.m.

! Flint Church of the Nazarene, located on County Road 174, Bullard, will host a gospel singing on June 10, featuring the Hubbard Family from Bullard. The singing begins at 11 a.m. Admission is free. ! Tyler Area Builders Association 54th Annual Parade of Homes, continuing through June 17. Twenty-seven homes will be featured this year, and can be toured at the cost of $10 per adult and $5 for children 12 and under. Texas Comptroller Susan Combs will visit Tyler today, as part of an initiative to meet with business and community leaders and offer a legislative update on issues impacting the Comptroller's office. Combs will also give local leaders information on programs planned for Texas taxpayers regarding local government assistance and economic development. The events are open to the public.
