St. Mary Magdalene sets charity tourney

St. Mary Magdalene Charity Golf Tournament, sponsored by Peltier Chevrolet of Tyler, will be held at Eagles Bluff on Monday, June 11. All golfers are invited to participate. Entry fee of $100 per player includes lunch and cart - equipped with GPS. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m., lunch will be at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. marks the shotgun start.

Peltier Chevrolet will award a Chevrolet truck to the first person who makes a hole in one on the selected hole.

An awards ceremony follows the tournament with first, second and third place teams, player closest to the hole and player closest to the line.

For those who do not play golf, a Ladies Game Day - including bridge and mah jongg - is offered at a cost of $25, which includes lunch and snacks.

The games run from 1- 4:30 p.m.
