Each year the Rotary Club recognizes the most outstanding students from Brook Hill by presenting each with the "Young Citizens" Award. The selection of these nominees was based on their excellence in the practices of citizenship, cleanliness, thriftiness, loyalty, courtesy, honesty, service, dependability, sportsmanship, scholarship, and leadership. This year Daniel Sharpless (seventh grade), Abby Lund (twelfth grade), Noah Claytor (twelfth grade), and Abigail Baker (sixth grade) were the nominees who were presented awards at the recognition luncheon held on May 10, at Tyler Junior College.
Teacher of the year award was given to Glenn Ballard, Director of Fine Arts at The Brook Hill School.
