SPORTS CAMPS Who: All incoming third through ninth graders. Where: Bullard High School Gym. Cost: $40 for the first child, $25 for each additional child. Dates: For boys, June 11- 14 For girls, June 18-21 Times: Boys, 9a.m. - 11 a.m. (third-sixth); noon - 3 p.m. (seventh ninth). Girls, 8:30 a.m. - 11 a.m. (third-fifth). Gym will open at 8 a.m.; noon - 3 p.m. (sixth-ninth). Gym will open at 11:30 a.m. About the camp: Competition/Skills camp. Players will be divided by age and ability. Skills will include ball handling, dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding, defense, and offense. Competitions include free throw, hot shot, 3 on 3, 5 on 5, and 3-point shooting. Deadline: In order to secure a place in camp and insure that camper will receive a shirt, camp fee or $20 deposit must be returned by May 22 for girls and May 31 for boys. Campers will be accepted on the day of the camp, but the school cannot guarantee a shirt for them. Registration: Registration forms may be picked up at any Bullard Campus. Baseball The Panther Baseball Camp will be held May 28-31 from 9 a.m.-noon. It is a comprehensive working camp designed to cover the fundamentals of baseball for boys ages seven to 14 (14-year old must be an entering freshman). The key objectives are to help future athletes develop their skills. Campers are required to supply their own glove, shoes and workout apparel. Registration forms may be picked up at the Bullard campus. For pre-registration send before May 23 to Coach Dent at the Bullard High School. The cost for each camper is $50, each additional child in a family will be $25, make checks payable to B.H.S. Baseball. |
