Lady Guard secures spot with 10-0 record

The Lady Guard had reason to celebrate Friday evening, not only have the girls secured their place in the first round of playoffs they secured it with a spotless district record. After defeating Greenville Christian Academy 7-3 in the final district game the Lady Guard's flawless record was announced, 10-0.

Whitney Teague did her part in the win as she struck out seven, allowed just one earned run and hit 2 for 3 at the plate. Shelby Rozell went 3 for 4 with two RBI's.

The Ladies will face of May 8 in the first round of playoffs to be held on their home field.
