John Armistead, author of "The Return of Gabriel," and, "The $66 Dollar Summer," said, "'Sling Creek'... is great for all ages." "I have never laughed so hard or enjoyed a book so much. I couldn't put it down," said Chuck Knight, a probation officer, in his review of the book. "I would like to see every judge in my county have a copy," he said. Not only will youth enjoy this rollicking and suspenseful story, but also everyone who grew up in the South will identify with the life and times of Bud and Joe Tanner. Barbara Eubanks, a Christian humorist and author of "Humorous Happenings in Holy Places" and "And the Angels Laughed" said, "In Joe Turman's, Sling Creek, the reader finds adventure, suspense and humor reminiscent of that found in Mark Twain's The Adventures of Tom Sawyer' and 'The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.' 'Sling Creek' is a must read for any youth or adult who likes fastpaced adventure."
