BH ORCHESTRA WINS FIRST IN STATE

The Brook Hill School Orchestra, under the direction of Jamie Reason, received Superior ratings from all three TAPPS judges for large ensemble and sight-reading, earning them another sweepstakes title. Also receiving superior ratings were jazz string ensemble, medium ensemble - soloists: Hee Chan Chang, Abby Lund, Noah Claytor, and Chris Lee; advanced quartet - Hee Chan Chang, Ben Reason, Abby Lund, and Noah Claytor and Mozart quartet - Kent Kim, Sarah Mullicane, Chris Ferrell, and Mason Lieberman. Mason received an excellent for his cello solo as did the violin trio of Kent Kim, Sarah Mullicane, and Megan Troxell. The Brook Hill Orchestra earned a total of 300 points for their superior rated events, placing them first in TAPPS 3A Instrumental Music.
