Braaten claims first place in girl's singles
      In the Bullard District Tennis Tournament held recently in Van, Amber Braaten claimed 1st place in the girls singles after defeating Ball of Chapel Hill (6-1)(6-0), Lay of Van (6-3)(6-1), and Verner of Van (6-3)(6-1). Braaten will now advance to the Regional tournament later this month.

BH golf teams play in tourney
      The Brook Hill boys' and girls' golf teams played in the district tournament in Richardson this past weekend. The boys' team finished 3rd losing to McKinney Christian and Prince of Peace by 4 strokes. Three of the boys did advance to state, finishing in the top 10 medallists.
