DSP offers 'Funday'

Join The Discovery Science Place as the University of Texas at Tyler Student Government Association proudly sponsors "Sunday Funday" on 29.

The museum, located at 308 N. Broadway in Tyler, will be open free to the public from 1-5 p.m.

A donation from the University of Texas at Tyler Student Government Association makes "Sunday Funday" an affordable way for the entire family to participate in different educational experiences such as art exhibits, science experiments and performances. Students from UT Tyler will be on hand to do activities and encourage children to play and learn.

The Student Government Association encourages students to connect with their community, and they chose to help The Discovery Science Place because they support and encourage a positive learning experience for all East Texas children.

This will also be a great chance to see our exhibit, "Sound Around," before it leaves in August.

Located at 308 N. Broadway in downtown Tyler, DSP is supported by grants, donations, admissions, memberships and special events.
