BULLARD COMPETES IN TRIMATCH

The Bullard tennis team fared well in the trimatch between Malakoff and White Oak on Monday, March 26.

Team results were 6-3 in the matches against White Oak and 11-3 for the matches against Malakoff.

As for individual matches, Christopher Braaten beat his opponents from both cities, Malakoff 8-2 and White Oak 8-3.

In girls singles Amber Braaten won 8-5 against White Oak and 8-2 against Malakoff. Zach Clark and Trent Weaver defeated the boys doubles team of White Oak 8-6.

The girls doubles team of Bailey Coever and Katie Worrell defeated Malakoff 8-2 while Michelle Stephenson and Kailee Schmitz beat White Oak 6-0.

In mixed doubles Amber Braaten and Christopher Braaten defeated the Malakoff team 8-2.

Michelle Stephenson and David Kempton defeated Malakoff 8-5 while the team of Kailee Schmitz and Michael Monteagudo defeated Malakoff 8-0.

Next up for the tennis team is the district tournament in Van with varsity playing on April 10 and the junior varsity playing April 11.
