The Lady Panthers felt the sting of a 1-0 loss to the Athens Hornets on Tuesday night.

The girls played a great defensive game only to come up short at the end.

Erin Kipp pitched a spectacular game giving up only one unearned on two hits, walking three and striking out 11.

Though the Lady Panthers finished with no runs they had five hits and three walks.

On Friday night, the ladies then fell victim in a 3-0 loss to the Lady Vandals.

The girls will face Brownsboro next in a home game Friday beginning at 6 p.m.
