Band acquires equipment truck

Those who happen to pass by Bullard High School may notice their newest accomplishment, parked beneath the trees for all to see is the newly decorated band equipment truck.

The truck is used for transporting band equipment to football games, UIL contests as well as in-town and out-of-town events involving the band.

Gary Jordan, the band director chose the colors and art to adorn the sides of the truck while local artist Debbie Willbanks created the logo that now graces the back.

The decals were then applied by Sign Country in Flint though this was all after the Band Booster Club held a special fund raiser.

Band members stood at the four-way stops in Bullard and Flint panhandling for the money needed to enhance the truck used so often.
