Randall Scott 'Scotty' McDaniel

Services for Randall Scott "Scotty" McDaniel, 18, Jacksonville, were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2007, at Thompson Funeral Home chapel, Jacksonville, with Rev. Jim Albright and Rev. Clifford Taylor officiating.

Burial was at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Maydelle.

Mr. McDaniel died March 17, 2007, in Jacksonville.

He was born May 7, 1988, in Jacksonville. He was a stocker for Brookshire's Warehouse, and was a member of Golden Harvest Church of God.

Survivors include his brothers, Jonathan McDaniel of Pittsburg, Okla., Robert Saunders and wife Melody of Waco; sisters, Christen Nelson and husband Michael of Bullard, Keeley McDaniel of Tyler, Christi Morton and husband Warren of San Antonio; father, Randy McDaniel and wife Melody of Tyler; mother, Kathy Webb, of Jacksonville; grandfathers, J.L. Bingham of Jacksonville, C.H. McDaniel of Rusk; grandmother, Reba Berry and husband Ron of Whitehouse; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pallbearers were Jonathan McDaniel, Keith Woodell, Danny Ramsey, Brandon Hutson, Tad Dover, Randy "Bozy" Willbanks, Justin Vaughn, Jesse Phillips and Dustin McCutcheon.

Honorary pallbearers were Greg Morton, Michael Morton, Doug Morton, Brian Morton and Jake McDaniel.
