CELEBRATIIONS
Marion Darr, left, and Johnye Harrington celebrated their mutual 90th birthdays March 15 at the Bullard home of Karen Kreiter. More than 100 ladies attended the afternoon festivity hosted by Elaine Gipson, Deannie Hatchet, Loretta Aalsma, Ruby Brown and Karen Kreiter. When asked what they attributed their longevity to, both answered with enthusiasm, "the quality of life and good friends at Emerald Bay." Marion was 90 on March 8 and played golf, shooting her age "plus a few." Johnye turned 90 on the March 18 at a family celebration in her honor. Both are active, as sharp as tacks and looking forward to the next decade.
