Rusk Rotary slates golf tourney

Whether you're a great golfer or a duffer, here's your chance to help deserving Rusk students further their education.

The Rusk Rotary Club's annual Memorial Golf Tournament, which benefits the Rotary Scholarship Fund, will be held Saturday, April 14 at the Birmingham Forest Golf Club in Rusk.

As in the past, the format will be a 4- person scramble, with handicaps totalling 48 or more; only 1 single digit player per team; and 20 being the highest counted handicap.

Entry fee is $40 per person. Cash prizes: $200 for third; $300 for second; and $500 for first.

To round out the fun and excitement, there will be door prizes, Vegas hole; long drive and closest to the hole.

All proceeds benefit the Rotary Scholarship Fund.
