! The Cherokee County Republican Club will meet Monday April 2, 2007. The meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Jacksonville Senior Citizen Center 302 S. Bolton St., Jacksonville. The Honorable 369th District Judge Bascom Bentley will be special guest speaker. All members are encouraged to attend and bring a friend. The public is invited and encouraged to attend. ! Because BISD used up both scheduled bad weather days for the school year, all campuses will have classes April 6 and 9. One day was used earlier in the year for a water main break and the second day for bad weather in January.

! Noonday Community Singers meet the second Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. at Noonday Baptist Church. All are invited to attend and enjoy c o n v e n t i o n - s t y l e singing of Southern Gospel classics.

! The Bullard Community Library holds story hour for children every Thursday at 10 a.m.

! The Bullard Band Boosters meet the first Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Bullard High School Band Room.

! The Bullard Area Kiwanis Club meets Tuesdays at noon in the fellowship hall of the First United Methodist Church of Bullard. The public is welcome to attend. Lunch is $6.
