Lady Panther continue streak

The Lady Panthers softball team showed no mercy at the 11th annual TASO Tyler Lone Star Umpires Association Blowout tournament as they won 5-0.

Against John Tyler the ladies prevailed 5-0.

The ladies defeated Edgewood 2-0 as Erin Kipp pitched a no-hitter.

Robert E. Lee took a 7-0 loss from the girls as Edgewood was defeated 3-1 in the finals.

In the Championship the Lady Panthers took down Westwood with a 3-1 victory.

Erin Kipp racked up six hits including a home run; Alison Burton also added six hits while Valarie Roberts added two hits to the victory.

The win brings the Lady Panthers record to 16-3 so far in the season.

Next the girls will face the Eagles in Canton, March 16 with the junior varsity starting at 4:30 and the varsity to follow at 6 p.m.
