Guard takes win in tourney

      The Brook Hill boys baseball team took consolation with a 10-2 win over Scurry-Rosser in the Edgewood Tournament Saturday. In the consolation championship Nolan Rose hit 3 out of 3 which included two RBIs. Pitching for the Guard, Chris Dawson led, striking out five Wild Cats.

Lady Guard stomps LaPoynor

      The Brook Hill ladies stomped LaPoynor 11-6 on their home field in last Tuesday's game. Whitney Teague pitched for the Lady Guard going 3-4 offensively as well as adding 3 hits for the girls. Jenny Anderson and Shelby Rozell each hit for a double and Jessica Johnson brought a triple.

Lady Panther continue streak
      The Lady Panthers softball team showed no mercy at the 11th annual TASO Tyler Lone Star Umpires Association Blowout tournament as they won 5-0. Against John Tyler the ladies prevailed 5-0. The ladies defeated Edgewood 2-0 as Erin Kipp pitched a no-hitter.
