ACHIEVERS

Above, The Brook Hill School Upper School Choir competed at the TAPPS District Vocal Competition on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at TK Gorman in Tyler. The Ladies' Ensemble, The Mixed Ensemble, and The Men's Ensemble all received Superior ratings and will now advance to the state meet in April which will take place on the campus of Hardin Simmons University. Soloist Kip Picarella received an Excellent rating. Soloists receiving a Superior rating, and advancing to the state competition were Anna Mae Stevens, Erica Eden, Shana Rubin, Heather Henrichson, Kara Flynn, David Brown, Preston Swink, Austin Sperry, and Kyle Tabler. Pianist Sarah Blair also received a Superior rating for her performance and will compete at state as well.
