GUARD HEADS TO PLAYOFFS
Varsity loses; JV prevails

The varsity Guard was defeated in a 48-45 loss to Prince of Peace in the final home game Friday night. S

pencer Denmon shot for 3 points in the final seconds to force overtime but the shot was missed.

The boys are still bound for the playoffs and are tied for second as of press time. Tyler Heingartner hit for 18 points; Mason Spradlin, 13 and Spencer Denmon, 8.

The Junior varsity Guard prevailed in their final game of the season with a 57-49 victory against Prince of Peace Friday night.

The boys fought to gain the lead after trailing a majority of the game, all their effort paid off with a great end to a wonderful season season.

Tyler Baker led the victory as he hit for 22; Heath Dickey followed with 12; Colin Hanks, 7 and J.P. Camp, 6.
