LINDALE - Services for Shelley P. King, 62, Lindale, were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007, at Central Baptist Church, Lindale, with the Revs. Byron Howard and Charles Gilmore officiating.

Burial was at Lindale City Cemetery under direction of Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Directors, Lindale.

Mrs. King died Feb. 5, 2007, in a Tyler hospice.

She was born Feb. 11, 1944, in Terrell to Joe B. and Ella Mae Ellis Minor, and lived most of her life in the Lindale area.

She was a member of Central Baptist Church, Lindale Order of Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary and the USWSOAR Club, where she served on the Board of Directors.

She was a retired bank teller for Lindale State Bank and loved camping, fishing and blue grass music.

Survivors include her husband, Arlon King, Lindale; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry Wayne and Tammy Vickery of Mount Sylvan; daughters, Dr. Karen Dickerson and Sonya West of Kingwood, Cassie and husband Bobby Snyder of Pea Ridge, Ark., and Kelly Moore, Lindale; stepchildren, Vicki Lyon of Dallas, Marcie and husband Tommy Smith and Arlon "Buster" and wife Kari King, all of Bullard, Cheryl and husband Alvin Berry of Jacksonville; brother, Harold Joe Minor of Bullard; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; two nieces, Lori Dupree of Huntsville, Tonya Minor of Bullard; and two nephews, Scott Minor of Bullard and David Minor of Troup.

Pallbearers were Arlon King Jr., Alvin Berry, Carl King, Kenneth King, Tim King and Larry Patterson.
