Bullard Panthers fall to Chapel Hill Bulldogs, 61-45

Bullard varsity boys fell short Tuesday night giving Chapel Hill a 61-45 victory. After going back and forth with the lead both teams ended the first period with 11 points. Once they hit the court again the boys couldn't manage to hold the lead even with their strong efforts.

Josiah Rosebury led the scoring with 9 points; Andrew Barron, 8; Lance Anding, 8; Raymond Cooper, 7; Robby Barkley, 6; Charlie Moore, 4; Austin Camp, 2 and Chris Manning, 1.

Lady Panthers fall to Chapel Hill

The varsity Lady Panthers took on the Chapel Hill Bulldogs in the district match-up Tuesday night ending in a 58-49 loss for Bullard.

The posts stood tall and took the shots keeping the Lady Panthers with-in just a few points of Chapel Hill the majority of the game.

Calli Miller hit for 12; Mallory Red, 10; Kanda Carter, 7; Ashley McConnell, 6; Elisa Lee, 6; Tara Wood, 5 and Natalie Gray, 3.

The ladies record now stands at 17-12 overall and 3-5 in district.

The junior varsity girls dominated the Lady Bulldogs never letting them take the lead to give Bullard a 41-29 victory. The ladies put forth tremendous effort, which paid off bringing their overall record to 21-6 as well as 7-1 for district.

Emily Philpott led Bullard with 15 points; Ashley Ricci, 6; Kayla Welling, 6; Emmy Long, 5; Susan Lowrie, 4; Heather Camp, 3 and Kailee Schmitz, 2.
