.. The Bullard Independent School District issue the bonds approved by the voters on Nov. 7, 2006. Anyone interested in purchasing bonds should contact a local broker or the district administration. These bonds may not be sold, nor may offers to buy be accepted, prior to the time an official statement is delivered in final form. This announcement is provided as a public service and should not be construed as a solicitation for the purchase of public securities.

.. Shots Across Texas will be providing free immunization shots on Saturday, Jan. 27, from 10 a.m. -2 p.m. in Bullard at the First United Methodist Church, Cain and Rather streets.

.. The Bullard Community Library is having its annual January clearance sale at the Friends of the Library bookstore. All hardbacks are 50 cents; paperbacks are 25 cents; and there are many other bargains. Proceeds benefit the library.

.. The Cherokee County Republican Club meets at 6:30 p.m. Monday Feb. 5 at the Hot Biscuit Family Restaurant 1407 E. Rusk St., Jacksonville.

.. Bullard Moms in Touch meets Tuesdays, from 8:15- 9:15. For more information regarding the group -- which meets weekly to pray for schools, children, administrators and leaders -- call Anne Moody at 825-7171 or Rena French at 894- 3072.

.. Bullard ISD trustees meet the second Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in the boardroom of the administration building. The public is invited.

.. The Bullard Area Kiwanis Club meets Tuesdays at noon in the fellowship hall of the First United Methodist Church of Bullard. The public is welcome to attend. Lunch is $6.
